CORN MAZE

Last night we thought it'd be fun to go to a corn maze. We went to Black Island Farms in Syracuse, it was a lot of fun!! There was so much for the kids to do from wagon rides (where they got to pick a pumpkin) big slides, animals to see and of course the maze. (which we unknowingly chose the long route but finished it.)

Here they are by the animals and having fun on the big slides. There was a really step one that i had to hold Gavin on my lap and go down, i think i had more fun!! If you can see it check out Peyton's face on the pic. of her & Brady, she is crying, there is this really tall black tunnel slide that she wanted to try until they climbed up to it, She screamed the whole way down!!! Poor thing!! She did like it once it was over.

Strides for Breast Cancer...

One of my Best Friends, Tracy,  has been diagonosed with breast cancer.(she is only 29, so every women make sure your doing your self-exams!!!!) She's already under went a bi-lateral masectomy and started Chemo treatments last Monday. She has had the best positive attitude about all of this. She is very brave and facing this head on. What a great woman, one i can look up too. I luv ya, girl!!

Last Saturday in Salt Lake at Liberty park was the Strides for Breast Cancer walk. Me and my other great friend April went to support Tracy and walk it with her. What a great experience. There were so many survivors and supporters there.  My batteries died on my camera but i'll get some pics. from Tracy..

SOCCER...

So Peyton thought she'd try soccer this fall/spring instead of dance for a change. Her first game didn't go the greatest, she was taken down and got a bloody nose, not something we warned may happen. So needless to say she was a bit skeptical to continue but by the next game she was ready went out scored a goal and her team won!! She loves it now. Her team is the Bruisers, she is # 5. I think some "team" work helps... Way to go Peyton!!!

First day of Kindergarten!!!

Peyton started kindergarten at Freedom Elem. this week. She is loving it. I signed her up for mornings which she has already gotten mad at me for doing. She's only 2 days into it too!!! She is not a morning person... 

Just BBQing in the rain....

Peyton and I had been wanting Brady's really yummy steaks for awhile, so Sunday night we talked him into BBQing them. (He has this really good marinade that he made up) As you can see it was raining but he still went out and cooked for us. Peyton was helpful to she handed him her Dora umbrella on his way out...
