The dog bite..

So some of you already know but Peyton was bitten by her friends dog, well puppy. It happened Wed. afternoon. This was the first time i let her go to this friends house. She usually came here to play. About a half hour after being there our door bell rings and it was Peyton and Abby's mom. My heart just sank as i looked at her cheek. We took her to the ER and she had to get 3 stitches, which she did amazing!! The doctor was great made her feel very comfortable. It is healing nicely, hopefully minimal scaring.
School is out the 29th. Her last soccer game for this season is this Sat. the 16th. Gavin is doing good. He has the funniest personality, we can joke about things and he understands it. Not sure if thats good or not at only 2. Will be 3 June 27th.
Other than that things are pretty good.

A little updating...

Sorry i've been slacking in the blogging dept. Plus i have pics. on my camera that i need to add to this but it always seems like my batteries are dead!!! Even when i buy the re-chargeable ones!! Anyway a quick update.... Brady's work has gotten busy, wahoo... I feel bad that he has to work such long hours though. He just got called to be Scout Master and we're still in primary. Scout Master he will like, it'll be kinda a challenge managing work and that but it'll all work out.

Our Easter was fun. Peyton played soccer that morning (she really loves playing and is pretty good, sorry but have to brag about my child a bit.. she scored 5 goals her last game.) after the soccer game we went to Michele's for lunch with the family, colored eggs, and the kids enjoyed a Easter hunt, a big hunt, i believe Grandma Shell hid 96 eggs!! Then Brady had a bit of an accident...  Let me just say when Brady, Brett, Adam and Marcus get together they do some funny but not the smartest things. Brady and Brett were swinging on this rope like chair and it broke while in mid air, the dowel hit Brady in the nose and he landed on his head. Brett being a bit more agile landed okay from what i seen. We thought the worst that happened was a bloody nose but turns out by Monday morning Brady was acting weird, couldn't stand up straight, had double vision, ect...   So i took him to the ER and the verdict was a concasion and from the jar to the head a bit of cross eyedness.  All is well now though, his eyes fixed themselves. Lesson learned from this was he's not as young as he thinks... Besides that we are all doing good. Enjoying the nice weather.. I will get pics. posted....

Sleep over with GMA Joni & going to the living Planet..

So its been awhile since i posted.. Been kinda crazy here.. Anyway last Sat. night my mom, Gma Joni, came for a sleepover.(Peyton had been buggin her about for a long time)So when she got here we made cookies, then set up a treasure hunt for the kids to find treats and the movies we'd be watching. Next we took the kids to my mom's friends house to pet/see the animals which included about 15 cats(gross), a horse, dog, donkey, and two huge bulls!! They loved it. Gavin liked the bulls the most. Peyton the donkey cuz it looked just like the one on Shrek.  After that we came home ate dinner and watched Milo & Otis & the Sandlot. I'll be posting pics. of the eventful day soon.   

On Monday Brady got home early cuz of the snow(plus its pretty slow in the construction industry, hope it picks up. kinda scary!!!) so we decided to take the kids to the living planet aquarium in Sandy. It wasn't as good as i expected but was ok, Peyton and Gavin had fun so that made it good. Sorry i am rambling on... 

Go Roy High...(future cheerleaders)

On Friday night Peyton got to cheer at half time at the Roy High basketball game. It was just a little clinic the cheerleaders did. She loved it!! It was fun going to watch. My friend Brittney saved us some seats, they were in the student section, so it was craziness!!! Oh high school memories.... (don't really miss it.) 

Happy Valentines

We had a good Valentines this year. It started Friday morning for Peyton, I went and volunteered at her Valentines party at school. It was fun to see and listen to all the kids. Then we went to lunch with my parents. At 5:30 Michele came and picked Peyton up for a sleep over. Brady & I were going to get a sitter for Gavin so we could go out but Brady got stuck work, didn't get home til midnight. Poor guy!! Nothing like putting in a 20hr. day!!! So Gavin & I hung out which was fun. Then on Saturday morning we all went to Grandma Shell's for a Valentines party. The kids had alot of fun. They hit a pinata, Frosted cookies and ate pizza. Thanks Grandma.

Sleigh riding...

On Saturday we went up deep creek and went sleigh riding. It was a blast!! My mom, dad and Gavin rode in the ranger while Peyton, Brandon, (my nephew) Brady, and I took turns being pulled on the sled. Then we found a big hill to go down. My dad pulled us up then we sled down, i should say tried their were a few crashes, i seriously think we got up to 25mph going down this hill!! It was like being a kid all over again!! Thanks mom & dad for a fun time.
That night we went to our friends, April & Ren, for dinner & a movie night. It was nice to visit and let the kids play. Thanks guys!!
